  The cupcakes were awesome, but when I went to pick them up, one of the ladies handled a transaction and then proceeded to go back and frost the cupcakes without washing her hands. I told the other lady at the cash register and she seemed fairly unconcerned. Another customer came in, again the same lady handled the transaction and then went right back to frosting the cupcakes. I finally said "Excuse me, money is very dirty. You need to wash your hands before you handle the food." I would definitely give more stars if I wasn't so grossed out by the way the food was being handled.

  I can never express my full gratitude for all that Cupcake Island, has done for my "cupcake ministry" over the years. Ed, the owner is the best ever! Believe me, I have lots of experience with cupcakes and you can't find a better place in Omaha!! Spoken as one, who has had my fair share of cupcakes over time. They make me happy! Go to the Island for yours! I'll probably see you there. Ha!

  I love this place. Their flavors are interesting and delicious, and it's always a fun treat to stop in with the kids and get a mini cupcake.
